This game is ideal for assessing your older students aural progress of the rhythmic concepts of ti-ka-ti (two sixteenths and one eighth note) and tii-ti-ka (one eighth and two sixteenth notes). Rhythms also include ta (quarter note), ti-ti (paired eighth notes), Z (quarter rest), ta-a (half note) and ti-ka-ti-ka (sixteenth notes). Each of the 12 game pages has 4 rhythmic patterns plus an embedded audio file. Students need to solve the order in which the patterns have been played.
This kit comes with practice flashcards in a dinosaur design - ideal for practicing before commencing the game, an answer sheet for the students to record their answers, an answer key for you, also included are small sort cards for the students to put the pitch patterns in the correct order as an alternative.
