Crackin’ Rhythms – A Poison Rhythm Game
Poison rhythms are a fun way to practice reading rhythms! Students identify the poison rhythm and then try not to clap it for the rest of the round. The game is played as students clap through page after page of rhythms trying NOT to clap the poison rhythm. Suggested instructions are included, but this set can be used in a variety of ways.
This Easter themed set is perfect for spring and kids love to say “Oh no! You cracked the egg!” This set is designed for your 1st-6th grade music classroom, but could be adapted for Junior High and High School students.
This product includes 8 different poison rhythm games in PDF format. Each game includes 77-84 slides of rhythms. Although this is NOT a PowerPoint, it will work in much the same way if you view it in Full Screen Mode.
