This is a student favorite

Loving the game Cranium, I modified a version for the Spanish Classroom to use as a review. Students really enjoy this game. This particular review is for Chapter 2A of Realidades II. It reviews vocabulary, reflexive verbs, ser/estar and possessive adjectives. The pdf includes complete instructions for play. You will need clay/play dough, dice and a few other items.

Materials Needed:
-Dice (1 per group)
-Clay or play dough (1 container per group) (No clay? Make that category another acting or drawing category.)
-Markers/bingo chips for taking score (a paper tally is also fine)
-One dry erase board and marker per group (paper may be substituted)
-One set of game cutouts per group
-Timer (optional)

I usually use this the day before the chapter test. This also makes for a good sub plan day because all of the answers are on the gamecards. As long as the students have played the game before, and the basic instructions are listed on the board, they play quite independently and really enjoy themselves. They light up when they see the Cranium materials out for the day!

I have a Cranium game for all chapters in Realidades I, and am in the process of creating one for each of Realidades II.
