Crash Reader's Theater!
If you have read the novel Crash by Jerry Spinelli, this middle grades reader's theater is a must have. Inspired by the novel, this reader's theater script focuses on the first 8 chapters of the novel when Crash Coogan and Penn Webb meet.
This CCSS focused, 8-character script is perfect for dividing a class in half and allowing students the chance to perform. They will love having the chance to showcase acting talents while practicing their fluency and reading comprehension. Your students will be working overtime finding text-text connections.
This 15-page packet includes a novel/script compare and contrast printable as well as 3-reader response questions that focus on the script. It is the perfect tool to enhance your novel study.
