This seven-question viewing guide will keep your students focused on the most important parts of the engaging Crash Course video. The video addresses common beliefs of conservative such as lower taxes and national defense, and common beliefs of liberals, such as affirmative action and government spending. The video discusses how subgroups of Americans tend to identify, and describes six factors of political socialization.
It's a ready-to-go homework assignment for your Civics or Government students, or, if you’re a one-to-one school, an ideal quiet time activity, which will keep students engaged while you conference with others.
Simply make the link available to students and distribute the viewing guide. There are two options: one with time stamps and one without--a great way to differentiate. You can also access this file digitally, via Google Drive, which will allow you to edit it.
