What is “Crash Course World History 2”?
In this second season of the renowned Crash Course World History YouTube series, John Green takes a deeper look at civilization, and the history that has shaped the world we live in today. While still discussing major events, dates, and people, Green also takes a broader look at the themes that have shaped the world from the beginning of time to now.
Season 2 of Crash Course World History takes a deeper look at important concepts (Including money, debt, famine, disease, war, capitalism, water, and energy) and how these themes have affected human civilization throughout all of history. These topics can serve as a springboard into great class discussions that your students can relate to and apply to their world right away.
Crash Course World History season 2 retains the style and quality that it had in season 1. It is fast paced, and dense with facts, yet lighthearted and easily accessible to all students.
A link to the episodes is provided in the product.
