Crash Course in Physics is a fast moving, informative, entertaining video series that tackles many issues that come up in high school AP physics classes. Dr. Shini Somara is your host. I provide a full page and half page option for students to fill in as the video plays. Many of the questions are more conceptual in nature, so that students can watch the video and still respond even after the video is complete. Video can be shown in class or assigned and students can watch multiple times to assimilate content.
I recommend printing these sheets directly from the pdf.
The videos are available on YouTube and a link to the video is included in the worksheets.
When you hear the word, "Work," what is the first thing you think of? Maybe sitting at a desk? Maybe plowing a field? Maybe working out? Work is a word that has a little bit of a different meaning in Physics and today, Shini is going to walk us through it. Also, Energy and Power!
Key Words: Crash Course in Physics, Shini Somara, Video guide (link to YouTube), worksheet, work, energy, power, force, Hooke’s Law, gravitational force.
