This is a set of in-depth guided notes to be used while viewing the movie Crash. The notes go scene-by-scene and are fill-ins. After reading Whale Talk, I like to show Crash to highlight the similarities and differences and continue the topic of racism that is heavy in Whale Talk.
Crash is the 2004 Best-Picture Winner and has many recognizable actors. It is a favorite with my students, and they often come back in later years to ask about it or discuss it with me again.
This is a great film to show with any civil rights unit, human rights unit, or in conjunction with a unit that discusses racism and the treatment of others.
I've also included a waiver at the bottom since the film is Rated R. It is very easily modified with your name and email address.
