This is a simple, straightforward literature unit for Jerry Spinelli's Crash. The book is split into six sections. There is a quiz and a page of group discussion questions for each of these sections. Some sections have extra extension projects as well.
The final novel project asks students to use their creativity and knowledge of the book's plot structure to create a "plot mountain." Students must write about the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution of the story. I've included a rubric for the final project.
