Students will LOVE this crayon box craftivity that will encourage team work and recognize diversity. The activity will begin by reading The Talking Crayon Box by Shane Derolf and then discussing working as a team and being unique. Then teams of students will create a crayon box that has a crayon to represent each person. On the back of the crayon students each write one way that they can be a team player. Finally, students write about the importance of teamwork.
