Crayon Beginning Sound Sort is a great way for children to practice beginning sounds. Children read the picture on the crayon and then place it in the corresponding letter crayon box. Each letter (with the exception of X) has 5 different crayons (red, yellow, green, blue and purple).
This activity can be used as an individual activity, a center, a partner activity, or a small group activity.
It is also a great way for children to practice beginning sounds without knowing letters.
