This lesson is based on the book Crazy Hair Day
by Barney Saltzberg. In this lesson, your students will learn all about different types of lines. With real life examples, your students will learn to identify vertical lines, horizontal lines, diagonal lines, and patterns.They will also find a variety of lines in modern works of art. Artists include Mondrian, Lichtenstein, Picasso and Warhol. Using step by step visual instructions, your students will create a colorful "Crazy Hair Day' line project.
