Crazy Snowball Fight!
Have a snowball fight inside!!! This game is a learning activity to help students recognize their capital and lowercase letters as well as their numbers. In this bundle, I have included lowercase letters, capital letters and numbers all in color and black and white!
I typically print on both light blue and white paper to make them look like real snowballs. Print and cut along the dotted lines to form squares of paper. crumble each square into a ball shape to form the snowballs. There are multiple ways to play this game and you can adapt it however you need to for your class.
I usually sprinkle the snowballs on the floor and have students take turns choosing theirs. They gently unfold the paper to reveal their letter/number. I have them read it to me. If they get it correctly on the first try, I have them toss their snowball into a bucket. If they make it into the bucket, they get one point. This keeps going until all the snowballs have been used. Whoever has the most points wins. You can split them into teams or play individually.
I have also let my students have a snowball fight with them for a set period of time. Once the time is up, the students quickly collect as many snowballs as they can. They then take turns reading their snowballs to me. You could also have students pick their snowballs first by reading them correctly. Whatever snowballs they collect, they can use during a snowball fight.
I hope you and your kids enjoy your snowball fight! Make sure to leave feedback! I love hearing from you. And be sure to check out my other products.
