Crazy for Cranberries Cross-Curricular Learning Center Activities
Description: Learn all about cranberries while enhancing basic core content skills. Students will use cranberries and hands-on cross-curricular learning activities to connect with math, science, ELA, and social studies. Activities include measurement, graphing, map skills, writing, tasting, and much more. Fun and learning can happen simultaneously.
Note: There is a special focus on Wisconsin, the leading producer of cranberries in the United States. This focus fits perfectly with your study of the 50 states or the US regions, no matter where you are teaching.
Grade Level: 3-4
Duration: 1-2 days or 1 week
Set-Up: This cranberry activity has eleven hands-on learning center activities. It may be set up in two different ways.
1. You can set up all the centers and do it in one or two days.
2. Or you can do it over a week and set up two centers each day.
