In the special education classroom, using visuals to reinforce any concept is important. When creating Super Sentences, student can take ownership of being creative and enjoy sharing their super sentences!
1) Provide students with a picture to color.
2) Once the picture is complete, students can be given the Super Sentence Graphic Organizer to brainstorm the WHO? DID WHAT? WHERE/WHY?
3) Once the graphic organizer is filled out, have a student use different color highlighters to select words or phrases from each category.
Students can now transfer these super sentences to writing paper and share aloud with others!
