Use this Board Game Project to teach the United States Government, Separation of Powers, Checks and Balances, Federalism, Principles of the Constitution, Amendments, Bill of Rights and much more.
This activity can be assigned individually or as a groups up to 4 students.
It includes the instructions, grading criterion and a scoring rubric to use.
There are several online game board templates that I direct my students to for their templates, some create their own original game boards as well.
We have a poster maker in our school, so I take a jpg. image of their completed board (if they create them electronically) and enlarge them to game board size, but students can easily use the template design and draw their own on a larger board and do their own coloring and graphics.
