As a final activity, to wrap up our Greek Mythology unit, I have students create their own myths to explain natural events.
Students choose a natural event from the list given OR they can think of their own natural event to explain. For example: why do butterflies migrate?
Students then fill out their "outline" with the protagonist, antagonist, setting, conflict, and result of the conflict. After, I have them write a complete story, on notebook paper.
This can also be done in groups!
