Description
The purpose of this activity is to teach your students about physical maps by having them learn about the vocabulary and parts of a physical map. Students will be constructing their own physical maps based on a detailed checklist of requirements. Terminology such as latitude, longitude, compass rose, physical map, cardinal directions, intermediate directions, hemisphere, Prime Meridian, and equator will be used.
