Description
The purpose of this activity is to teach your students about political maps by having them learn about the vocabulary and parts of a political map. Students will be constructing their own political maps based on a detailed checklist of requirements. Terminology such as latitude, longitude, compass rose, political map, cardinal directions, intermediate directions, hemisphere, Prime Meridian, and equator will be used.
