This is a project that completes a sports unit in lower-level Spanish classes. Students use sports vocabulary to create their own original sport. They must talk about the equipment, what coaches would say to students (such as run faster), how someone wins, where the game is played and how it is played. A rubric is included with ACTFL proficiency levels for scoring the language of the project as well as its completion.
It is a really fun project that students always love!
