Your students will love thinking about food! Students will use the five senses and sensory words to create a menu for a restaurant they make up. They will also learn to balance their meal with a paper plate demonstration of what a meal would "look" like if it was ordered.
This is a three hour (or three day) activity, but it can be extended longer. You can add a ton of extras to this activity and take out the parts you don't like.
Materials you will need: sample take-out menus, paper plates w/ no coating
Optional: construction paper, white paper, glue, markers, internet, and Word or like program for making the menu on a computer.
