Product Description
Let students get creative with this engaging, digital project. This activity has students select a consumer good that would appeal to one of three target markets (provided) and create an advertisement that illustrates one of the advertising techniques. A list of techniques is provided, but you may need to provide additional instructional content for students to fully understand the techniques listed. This project should be completed using the free website Canva. Students will create an account and select a template to create a magazine, Facebook, or billboard ad. This can be completed verbally or written (by having students record answers on a sheet of paper). Also included in this file is a basic rubric to grade the advertisements created with Canva.

Materials Included:
--Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation with list of advertising techniques, project instructions, 3 target market descriptions, 7 formative assessment questions
