There are many extremes on Earth. Mt. Everest is the tallest terrestrial mountain. The Pygmy Marmoset is the smallest monkey. Commonwealth Bay in East Antarctica is the windiest place on Earth. In this activity, students choose nine other extremes on Earth and share them on a Google My Map.

Students use the Google research tool available in Google docs to research extremes on Earth. Students share what they learn through the Google app My Map.

Requires Internet connection and Google account for each student.

Includes student directions and grading rubric in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF.

Includes links to student directions in Google doc and grading rubric in spreadsheet to download and save to your Google drive.
