This center has incomplete sentences that should be printed and laminated and glued or stapled to paint stirring sticks (You can get for free at Lowes or Home Depot). You will also need clothes pins to attach the missing parts of a sentence to the sentence stick. Students can make silly sentences using the several words (with pictures to help young readers) to fill in the missing noun, adjective and strong verbs. Students will have fun creating sentences and then writing them on paper and illustrating them on their own. A great way to improve reading, spelling and writing skills for early childhood students!
