This EDITABLE activity asks students to create a model of the body systems that work together in the process of maintaining a stable body temperature (nervous, integumentary, circulatory and muscular). I have my students closely read and highlight the main passage for specific body systems involved, then organize that information in a table. Once students have listed the four main systems, their functions and major organs, students use this information to draw a model. You can do this as a whole class (model the model), with a partner or individually.
