Included are two activities for practicing the skill of answering questions using a line plot and creating a line plot from a data chart. The first activity is based on the average length of various beetles and the second is based on the average length of various ants. Both include an answer key.
Represent and interpret data.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots. For example, from a line plot find and interpret the difference in length between the longest and shortest specimens in an insect collection.
PLEASE Let me know if you find any errors, so I can fix them. I have gone over and over these but you know how sometimes no matter how many times you read over something, an error can still get missed.
