This is a bundle of the workbook series: Creating Original Science Investigations
Nervous about planning a science fair project. Are you part of the science fair committee? This workbook series will help guide young scientists through the scientific method. Kindergarten and First graders will develop experiments focusing on 2 changes. They will learn to create original investigations that make their first science fair a positive experience. Second and third graders will expand their projects to include 3 levels of the independent variable and start doing 2 trials or more. Fourth and fifth graders will independently create original investigations focusing on 3 or more levels and deciding how many trials they should perform. What a great way to prepare for middle school! Teachers and parents have all expressed how the methods in this workbook helped make the science fair a fun and rewarding experience.
We divide our fair into 3 groups. K-1, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. This gives the students two years with the same expectations to help them become more familiar. We still give awards to each grade individually.
