PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

As an extension to the lesson on creating depth and movement in space, this lesson follows a similar format but substitutes hand-torn strips and shapes of up to 4 different colours. Placing the shapes will demonstrate several principles of design including balance, movement, rhythm, harmony, unity, variety and emphasis.

Students are encouraged to engage in dialogue with peers and the teacher prior to selecting a final choice from at least 4 design prototypes, where they can demonstrate an understanding of the language of Art.
