Creating a Haitian Menu

In the lesson, Creating a Haitian Menu, students will investigate the unique culture and climate of Haiti through the research and creation of a traditional Haitian menu.
1) Understand and identify ways in which the environment affects food and what type of foods are traditional and common in Haiti.
2) Conduct research to build knowledge about Haiti, Haitian food and resources.
3) Create a project using new knowledge about the infusion of culture and food in Haiti.
