This PBL activity forms a collaboration between language arts (reading the Odyssey) and Greek history and culture for a world history/geography class.
The Authenticity piece which is essential in PBL invites a comic book owner, comic book fan, or artist into the class to see and critique the learners work.
This does not include any of the curriculum benchmarks (supplemental stuff, workshops, tests ,activities) you are probably already doing but is solely the end product which is a guideline for putting it all together.
ALSO: I kind of falsely advertised this, but I included an example of this that I created about a superhero who doesn't like the austerity measures in Greece (not really Anti-Austerity Man). He is the son of Hephaestus, the god of fire and building.
