Product Description
My students worked for one semester creating projects to display in our classroom museum. We designated a day in May for our museum to be open to the public. Displays included triangular Venn-Diagrams to compare/contrast topics such as Native American tribes, sports, Civil War leaders and battles, a kiosk of festivals in Mississippi, Native American villages, God's eyes, acrostics, bio-bottle buddies of famous Mississippians, Mississippi multi-media maps, twisted raffia rope, a handmade quilt top, Mardi Gras floats, a scavenger hunt collage, flags, 1950-1990 timelines, montage of 1960's information, old family photos, books, music, and artwork from famous Mississippians. This PowerPoint explains how to make the projects as well as suggestions that can be used across curriculum. The same ideas are useful for preparing a science museum, which we presented in December. Please see my store at www.teacherspayteachers.com/store/Robin_Lofton for other products. Comments are welcome! Thank you! :)
