These are pictures to help with question the day and the book Just like Josh Gibson in the Creative Curriculum Ball Study.
I have included the directions in with the document so that you know what to do with the pictures.
The following pictures were used the creative curriculum ball study. These have help with question of the day over several days. Some of the questions include which game with balls do you like best? Who works with balls? What animals uses balls? Also the pictures just help explain things.
The second set of pictures in the document.
The following pictures were used with the book Just like Josh Gibson in the creative curriculum ball study. The pictures of all the famous players were put on butcher paper with the words Super Stars in the middle. Before reading the book the pictures on the butcher paper was hung on the board and we talked about what a super start is with the pictures examples. We talked about how when you go outside and play you might pretend to be someone else. Then as we read the book Just like Josh Gibson the pictures of him were put up to help the students better understand. The baseball diagram is used to tell students how they play baseball.
I have seen this book done two ways. Like talked above and then just someone picking it up and reading. Trust me you need the pictures and discussions before, during, and after if the students have questions.
I feel that this is one of the hardest books for the students to understand in the whole creative curriculum classroom box set.
I do not own any part of the creative curriculum.
