What educators are saying

This was such a nice, new edition to my unit. My students enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing such a unique, creative, valuable resource.

Description

Inspire your students to find their creativity with this Creative Novel Study Project for any book! This project is a perfect alternative to the book report.

This project challenges students to create a project using critical thinking skills. It, therefore, links project ideas with critical thinking actions: analyze, evaluate, and create. The goal of the project is to showcase a literary aspect of the work through a creative project and present it to the class. A project proposal is included to help students develop their critical thinking skills related to their creative endeavors.

An option to use a digital resource to create the project is included. A rubric is also included for assessment.

You can find examples of the project here.

Included:

Creative Thinking Project (digital and print)

Metacognitive Proposal (digital and print)

Creative Thinking Rubric (digital and print)

This resource is included in The Critical Thinker's Novel Study Unit.
