Description

Do you need creative writing bell ringers? This download contains 50+ narrative writing prompts, enough for 9 weeks of writing activities. The questions are meant to stretch students, to require thoughtful responses, and to meet standards. You will receive a PDF and digital link.

Please look at the preview and thumbnails for examples of the writing prompts. These can easily become larger writing assignments. I use these as bell ringers to start class in an orderly way and to build relationships with students.

These creative writing prompts work well in a standard English class or part of a creative writing class/unit. I created these writing prompts for high school students, but they may work with mature middle school students.
