**Please follow me as I will be adding CCSS-specific skill review activities in the upcoming weeks, just in time for the standardized tests.**
-Students write a one-act play with little help from the teacher. This would be a great activity for students to work on in class which would allow the teacher to do some differentiation with students for skills reviews for the upcoming state/standardized tests.
-I originally used this with an honors ELA class and their honors world geography class. Students read "The Book Thief" in my ELA class while they studied WWII and the Holocaust in their world geography class. They combined information from both to create and write a one-act play.
-I would extend that to include their ELA class as well as any other content area students choose. The basic subject matter would come from the other content area, and the writing would be done in the ELA class. This would be a great opportunity to work with teachers of other content areas, but not necessary.
-The document is in Word format. You will need to add due dates and any other information you think will be necessary.
-Thanks and keep up the great work!
