This is a full workbook with 42 activities designed to spark creativity and deepen interest in the works of William Shakespeare. They can be used with any Shakespearean play. Students familiar with Keri Smith and her "Wreck this Journal" love these tasks.
I use these as homework tasks for my Theatre Studies classes. However, they can be used for substitute teachers, early finishers, advancing and extending, 'do now' activities, enriching current teaching programmes or to elicit a response from students that shows their understanding.
The activities are self-contained and can be completed in order, out of order, or just selected from the guide. Each one is numbered to make it easy to set a specific task for homework. The tasks are designed to engage students with the text, and beyond the text, in a way that is enjoyable. There are no right or wrong answers... which makes them great for reluctant learners.
I have uploaded "Creativity Workbook: Shakespeare LITE" for free, which has 7 of the 42 activities from this booklet in it. Feel free to sample the 7 activities before committing to all 42.
