Thank you for considering purchasing one of my resources. These are the centers and activities that I made for my Full Day French Kinder class in Ontario (where we focus on play based learning). As a French teacher, I got so frustrated flipping through Pinterest pages full of English centres. So, I made some French ones and then I decided to post them on TPT---hoping that it would save awesome teachers like you a little time so that you can focus on what really matters. While I use them in Kinder, they could also work well as centres in elementary classes too depending on the needs of your students.

The following is a breakdown of the activities included, please make sure to read them carefully so that you know what you are purchasing. Note--- some of the centres might require simple materials found in most kinder classrooms like dice, playdough, loose parts, etc.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

  • Page 1-5 SURVEYS: Four different blank templates for students to ask others what they prefer. Blank graph to graph the results on page 5.
  • Page 6-14 ASK A QUESTION, GRAPH, ANALYSE: Multiple templates for students to use to create graphs. Some premade ones with preset questions like “what do you prefer—pomme, orange ou raisin” and blank templates too. Compare fruit, foods, colours or animal favorites.
  • Page 15-17 LEGO GRAPHING: Take a cup of LEGO, and then place them on the graph. Colour and black & white versions.
  • Page 18-22 GRAPHING WITH TEDDY BEARS: Take a cup of teddy bear counters or roll the dice (page 19 or 20) and graph the results.
  • Page 23-25 ROLL & GRAPH: Roll and graph by picture.
  • Page 26: COLOUR & COUNT: Practice tally skills by coloring and counting pictures.
  • Page 27: GRAB & GRAPH: Take a handful of play money and graph the results.
  • Page 28-33 WRITING PROMPTS: Writing prompts with “Parfois, C’est toujours, C’est possible que, Je n’ai jamais, C’est impossible que, C’est certain que“
  • Page 34 HEADS OR TAILS PROBABILITY: Flip coin and create a tally.
  • Page 35-36 PROBABILITY VOCAB CARDS
  • Page 37-51 PIN & CLIP PROBABILITY CARDS: Gumballs & Fishing probability cards in two sizes.

Also, if you’re looking for a series of worksheets, this probably isn’t the package for you. It’s not full of worksheets because worksheets are not appropriate for young children for so many reasons. This product does contain lots of printables that are meant to enhance a hands-on activity. This product makes great learning centres, morning tubs, math bins, etc.
