Product Description
Teaching Inferences through Investigation:
This resource helps students learn how to make inferences and support them through reason and evidence by simulating a crime scene investigation. Students will get excited about taking on the role of a crime investigator as they search for the person who committed the crime. This resource should be used in conjunction with lessons on inference, and could be used as an introductory activity or a culminating activity based on the way it is presented by the teacher. The final pages of this resource helps students organize their thoughts to write both an argumentative writing and an informational writing.
