Crispin – The Cross of Lead
Crispin is a peasant boy during medieval times and when the story starts he isn’t even important enough to have an actual name. There isn’t much more that can happen to him: his mother is dead, the only person who believed in him (the priest) has been murder, he is accused of a crime he didn’t commit and there is a reward for him regardless of if he is dead or alive. Crispin flees into the countryside only to discover secrets about himself which will change his life in a way he cannot imagine.
