The learning objective of this unit is to explore through inquiry the "Code of Silence," its definition, impacts and the means by which it is propagated.
Students are really challenged in this unit to think critically about their choices and the beliefs behind those choices. The 8 lessons provided learning activities for students to engage in a rich inquiry both in and out of context. Multiple opportunities for assessments are woven throughout the unit. Unique graphic organizers and materials are provided for teachers here.
