“See you later, alligator. After a while, crocodile.” What is the difference between a crocodile and an alligator? With this unit about crocodiles and alligators, students will learn all about these ancient reptiles. They will love making this fun craft project.

Start by reading the passages about these ancient reptiles and answering the comprehension questions. Students will love making an adorable alligator craft and assembling the 8-page flip-up booklet. The flip booklet pages attach to the inside of the alligator's mouth.

In this pack:


Have students read the passage about Crocodiles and Alligators and answer the comprehension questions. An answer key is included. Students could work with a partner or you can use it as a learning station activity.

Alligator Craft:

Using the reading passage, students can answer the questions on the flip book pages. Lastly, they cut, color, and assemble the craft and attach the flip up booklet to the inside of the alligator's mouth.
