This is a six-page text about the crop circle phenomenon from a scientific and objective viewpoint. It is about fifth grade level reading and has line and page numbers.
There are 14 cooperative activities and questions with topics ranging from debating the cause of crop circles to finding compound words, explaining text features, and rewriting paragraphs.
It can be best used to evaluate and gather evidence, but also touches on other ELA topics so you can hit those for review or introduction.
One small section is unclear, so that is another challenge. Capitalization of titles, Greek and Latin roots, and other topics are touched on, as well.

If you find pictures on top of text, you can click and drag them around or delete them if you want.
Please read the key section on question 11 before assigning that activity.
