Description

Classroom, Music, and Physical Education Teachers and others will love these Movement Words lists. Use them as a way to bring MOVEMENT into Reading, and READING into Physical Education! A great cross-curricular activity!

* Call out the word, act out the motion, perform the movement, or “strike a pose".

* Combine words from different lists.

* Make into flashcards. Use in Relays!

* Make the ABC’s using a jump rope to "write" the first letter of your name, J for Jump (then jump), S for Skip (then skip), etc.

* Make a number and to that many jumps, hops, or exercises.

* Use multiple ropes or get partners/groups and make these 5-letter movement words!

* Have groups make a word, perform it, and move to other's words to perform them!
