This is part of my Autumn/Fall themed Literacy Center series.
Students practice and consoldiate the or, ore, oar, air, are, and ar sounds with this game. There are up to 3 levels of play - Level 1 cards, Level 2 cards and spell either Level 1 or 2 cards (Level 3) for easy differentiation.
How to Play:
*Players take turns to take a card. If they can read the card they get to spin the spinner and move the number of pumpkins spun. If the card is read incorrectly, the player stays where they are. The card is placed face down on the bottom of the pile.
*Play continues in a clockwise direction.
*The first player to shoo the scarecrows wins!
Challenge: Another player picks up the card and reads the word. The player has to spell the word correctly to spin the spinner and move (Level 3)!
Tokens that can be used instead of counters
