This is a 100-question multiple-choice question summative test on Arthur Miller's The Crucible. It has three sections: Twenty matching characters to their descriptions; thirty true/false questions, and fifty sentence-completion questions. Sentence-completion items have four choices (A-D) each. The level is aimed at tenth grade honors, but the test is suitable for all high school levels. It is primarily a literal-level assessment, nothing very tricky, just nicely comprehensive. If you want a skills-based test, you might want to use something else. Students will need a thorough knowledge of the work, but the multiple-choice items follow sequentially to aid recall.
