Build letter sound retention by allowing your students to use their favorite Hot Wheels car and say the sounds of the alphabet. There are picture clues on each card to help them remember the sounds for the letters. There are four letter mats for each letter (2 Capital and 2 Lowercase). Have your students drive their car across the mat saying the sound as they pass the letter. When they arrive to the picture they say what it is. Not only are the practicing their letter sounds they are unknowingly practicing beginning sounds too! This simple yet fun is both engaging and educational. There are over 104 total cards! Print on card stock and laminate and have a ready made center that will last. These are great for a center or for intervention.
