This is a short, one page response sheet that I use to assess students' understanding of Cubism, specifically Pablo Picasso's work.
I use this with sixth graders, although the prompts allow leeway for lower and higher grade levels. There are four open-ended response questions included. Specifically, it asks students to explain their artistic choices following a unit on Cubism--including color scheme, responding to what they've learned, and explaining what makes an artwork a Cubist artwork.
