Do you have students with Autism or Aspergers who need visuals in your classroom to understand your daily directions? If so, these on-the-go, portable cards are a must. This cue cards mega pack (88 cards in total) will help your students with autism or communication disorders/language delays communicate more effectively at school. I use these daily with students across the autism spectrum and have seen fantastic results!

Do not use fancy fonts or elaborate clip art with your students with autism! These cards were purposely created in a simple format with basic, plain pictures in order to be as effective as possible for individuals with autism. Flashy pictures and backgrounds can be very distracting to individuals on the autism spectrum. They respond best to words or short phrases with a simple image correlated to the text.

This small set is designed to wear on a lanyard around your neck, clip on to your belt loop, staple to popsicle sticks, or loop onto a metal ring and keep in your purse or car. Print the attached pages. Cut out paper cards and then glue onto cardstock or construction paper. Then laminate, cut out and add a hole punch to the top of each card. Place all cards on a metal binder ring. Attach to your belt loop or use a lanyard to wear the cards around your neck. The cards are effective for students with a wide range of communication abilities. Teachers can carry all of the cards with them daily, or select cards that are most appropriate to use with their targeted students. These are helpful in the regular education classroom, inclusion room and for self-contained students.
