Product Description
As a certified Reading Recovery teacher, the best advice I can give you when learning how to effectively prompt your students is to choose one prompt for each area (meaning, syntax, visual) and stick to it until you have it down. When you’ve learned that prompt, add another to your repertoire. Although the prompts are well-known in the Reading Recovery world, I have found that having them on something like these cards really makes them much easier for me to access and remember and, therefore, use on a regular basis. Cut out the card of the prompt you want to learn and place it somewhere you can easily see it during Guided Reading Groups.
