Suggested Use of Cultura Diaria:

-There are 34 weeks worth of culture facts (5 facts a week) covering a different topic each week

-The teacher can project the daily fact onto a Smart Board or screen using an LCD projector or write it on a designated white board

How I used it in my classroom:

-The daily fact was projected on the screen as students entered the classroom

-Students copied the Cultura Diaria into a designated section of their Spanish binder (this gives students a task to do as soon as they enter the classroom and prevents having to settle down students in order to begin class)

-We spent a couple of minutes discussing the daily fact and I would show related images, maps or short video clips from the internet

-To ensure that students copied the Cultura Diaria, they were given a quarterly quiz (included) and were allowed to use their notes
